Technical Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Consultant to design, implement and support secure technical solutions for our customers while also maintaining and improving our internal IT environment. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and occasional on‑site support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with senior customer stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Provide technical support on‑site and remotely as required.
• Produce high‑quality RFP/ITT/RFI, SoW, HLD and LLD documentation.
• Support pre‑sales activities and contribute to customer engagements.
• Undertake any other relevant tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Eligible for SC security clearance.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server.
• Hands‑on experience with networking hardware (Juniper preferred, Cisco or HPE acceptable).
• Consultancy background delivering advice, proposals and designs.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server.
• Juniper, Cisco, HPE networking products.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS‑102 or AZ‑104.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials+ or CIS benchmark hardening.
• Firewall expertise with Palo Alto and SonicWall.
• Virtualisation platforms: VMWare, Hyper‑V, Proxmox, Morpheus.
• Hardware server and storage management.
• Cloud networking and security concepts.
• Networking certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, CCNA, JNCIA) or equivalent.
