Technical Engineer – Masonry Support Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of high‑quality masonry support systems for a range of construction projects. You will work closely with architects, façade engineers and contractors to develop efficient, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from tender through to completion, handling values from £50k to £500k+
• Produce GA layouts, sections, manufacture and setting‑out drawings
• Respond to technical enquiries and liaise with suppliers for additional literature
• Interpret architectural, façade and structural drawings to create detailed solutions
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations and CPD material for clients

Required profile

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (BSc/BEng)
• Extensive experience in masonry support, fixings, anchoring, restraint, precast concrete and glass façade systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, results‑oriented work ethic
