Technical Lead (Full Stack Java)

About the role

Our client, a national technology company, is seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong Java expertise to drive high‑quality engineering across a modern, scalable software platform. This full‑stack leadership role operates in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define solution architecture in partnership with the Head Architect
• Present architectural approaches and technical solutions to fellow Technical Leads
• Produce high‑level documentation for agreed technical implementations
• Participate in solution design sessions, design workshops and peer code reviews
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested production code and refactor legacy components
• Apply best‑practice development techniques, including design patterns and coding standards
• Contribute to user story creation, acceptance criteria, estimation and testing
• Fully engage in agile ceremonies: planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives

Required profile

• Experienced Full Stack Java professional with deep expertise in Java Spring, microservices architecture and event‑driven systems using Kafka
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB and modern observability tooling
• Solid grounding in design patterns, Domain‑Driven Design and front‑end development, ideally React.js
