Technical Manager - Cockpit Architect

About the role

Join Bentley Motors as a Technical Manager – Cockpit Architect and help shape the future of vehicle interior design. Working within the Vehicle Architecture team, you will lead concept development for the Cockpit & Seating zone, ensuring innovative, compliant solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept design development using CAD and virtual technologies, proactively resolving conflicts and delivering robust concepts.
• Create and maintain Primary Hardpoints, ensuring compliance with legal and legislative requirements.
• Propose innovative architectural solutions during early project stages and facilitate Working Technical Reviews.
• Track system integration status, communicate impacts of changes, and keep projects on schedule.
• Benchmark current and past portfolios and competitor offerings to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and group platform partners to solve complex technical and project challenges.

Required profile

• Proficient in Catia with the ability to develop CAD models from scratch using A‑Surface geometry.
• Creative thinker capable of generating feasible ideas from a blank slate.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to address technical conflicts clearly.
• Excellent presentation skills for communicating technical information to multiple stakeholders.
• Confidence in proposing innovative ideas and engaging in productive discussions.
