Technical Manager – Commercial Flooring (Progression to Director)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Manager to become the technical authority for commercial and performance flooring systems. You will support prestigious international projects, work closely with sales, engineering and senior leadership, and have a clear pathway to a Technical Director position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for commercial flooring, performance flooring and staging systems.
• Advise sales and project teams on specifications, installations and bespoke solutions.
• Assist product development, testing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support major international projects with drawings, specifications and on‑site technical assessments.
• Investigate technical issues, installation challenges and customer claims.

Required profile

• Background as a Flooring Installer, Supervisor or similar in commercial flooring.
• Strong practical installation knowledge and ability to translate it into technical guidance.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers, contractors and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on hybrid schedule.
