Technical Production Line Operator – FMCG Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Production Line Operator to join a global FMCG food manufacturer. You will ensure the smooth operation of high‑speed production lines, maintaining quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line equipment to achieve optimal performance.
• Act as the first responder to faults, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimise downtime.
• Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or process‑related problems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Document line operations, adjustments and maintenance activities accurately.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects and support the introduction of new technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a line‑technician or maintenance role within FMCG or high‑speed manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards in a production environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
