Technical Project Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV and structured cabling projects on a contract basis. The position is outside IR35, hybrid, and requires three days per week on site in Central London.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver enterprise networking, security, wireless, CCTV and fibre optic projects.
• Manage field engineering and installation teams, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Control project budgets, produce financial reports and track expenditures.
• Apply appropriate project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid) and use project management tools.

Required profile

• Valid NPPV3 security clearance.
• Proven track record delivering networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV and structured cabling projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security technologies, wireless infrastructure and fibre optics.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

What we offer

• Outside IR35 contract with a daily rate of £450‑£500.
• Hybrid working model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
• Initial assignment until year‑end with potential extension.
