Technical Project Manager – Network Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead network infrastructure projects within a large public‑sector programme. You will be responsible for delivering enterprise networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, structured cabling and fibre solutions from planning through to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of network infrastructure projects, coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Oversee technical teams, suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project governance.
• Control budgets, risks and schedules, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain strong communication with engineers, vendors and public‑sector clients.
• Utilise Microsoft Project and Microsoft 365 for planning, reporting and collaboration.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering network infrastructure projects in large enterprise or public‑sector environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, structured cabling, fibre and network security.
• Experience managing technical teams, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships.
• PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project‑management qualification (or demonstrable experience).
• SC or NPPV3 clearance (or ability to obtain).
