Technical Project Manager – SAP Infra & Basis

About the role

We are seeking a senior Technical Project Manager to lead the Infrastructure and Basis workstream of a global ERP transformation from SAP ECC to S/4HANA on RISE. The role blends programme leadership with hands‑on SAP Basis expertise, requiring you to chair executive steering committees and dive into detailed landscape design.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery framework for the Infrastructure and Basis workstream, including integrated plans, RAID management, cut‑over and hyper‑care documentation.
• Independently manage and challenge multiple tier‑one system integrators and technology partners.
• Provide hands‑on guidance on SAP Basis configuration, landscape design and environment builds.
• Manage RISE with SAP provisioning, hyperscaler landing‑zone readiness (Azure, GCP, AWS) and multi‑instance environment configuration.
• Lead HA/DR planning and testing, system refreshes, transport management (ActiveControl) and SAP security/vulnerability management.
• Act as technical workstream lead proxy in detailed technical and Basis meetings, collaborating with senior engineers and architects.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior SAP programme management on complex, global S/4HANA transformations.
• Proven ability to manage tier‑one system integrators at an executive level.
• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Desirable SAP Certified Technology Associate (Basis or HANA) and experience in the CPG/FMCG sector.
