Technical Sales Administrator

About the role

This position sits within a busy Customer Service team at a global manufacturing business on the Ellesmere Port Industrial Estate. You will provide technical sales administration support, handling high‑value orders and ensuring smooth order processing throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and process technical sales orders using the SAP ERP system.
• Respond to customer enquiries by email regarding order status, product queries and amendments.
• Manage freight claim backs and maintain the electronic filing system.
• Identify and escalate order discrepancies promptly.
• Support the team during holiday cover and backlog periods.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, or any role with technical sales support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors before they impact customers.
• Excellent organisational skills to prioritise a changing workload.
• Own transport for commuting, as the site is not served by public transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (or other ERP systems).
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

What we offer

• 6‑month fixed‑term contract with weekly pay.
• Hourly rate of £16.40 plus holiday pay, totalling £18.39 per hour.
