Technical Sales Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑driven Technical Sales Consultant to guide customers through the selection of technical solutions that meet their needs. In this consultative sales position you will act as a trusted adviser, combining technical expertise with strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full customer journey from initial enquiry to order completion.
• Analyse customer requirements, provide technical advice and prepare accurate quotations.
• Maintain and grow a personal sales pipeline, following up leads and using the CRM system to maximise conversions.
• Process orders precisely and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Consistently achieve sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical, engineering or construction product sales.
• Confident discussing technical products and quickly grasping customer needs.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially motivated, organised and able to handle multiple opportunities at once.
• Goal‑oriented with a focus on meeting sales targets and providing first‑class service.
