Technical Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised Technical Sales Coordinator to become the central hub for all sales enquiries in a fast‑paced office. You will manage the flow of enquiries, quotations and orders, ensuring each step is handled accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process all sales enquiries from the central inbox.
• Prioritise and route enquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Communicate confidently with customers, suppliers, distribution partners and internal technical teams.
• Generate accurate quotations using the established pricing matrix.
• Enter and process orders in Sage ERP.
• Maintain large volumes of product and part‑number data in Excel.
• Keep an organised electronic filing system for enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Follow sales and administration processes to ensure smooth progression of each enquiry.
• Update and maintain accurate customer records.
• Monitor outstanding quotations and follow up as needed.
• Support the wider sales team with administrative tasks and order processing.
• Identify and suggest efficiency improvements while adhering to procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel – formulas, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables.
• Experience using Sage or a similar ERP/order processing system.
