Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

ASC Connections Ltd is seeking a commercially‑driven Technical Sales Engineer to manage an established territory across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Kent. You will build on existing customer relationships, identify new opportunities and act as a technical ambassador for the company’s cutting‑tool product range.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the sales territory, maintaining strong links with end‑users and distributor partners.
• Identify and secure new business to increase market share.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand manufacturing needs and propose improvements.
• Provide high‑quality technical support and act as a professional brand ambassador.
• Maintain accurate customer records and relay market feedback to internal teams.
• Manage your diary and appointments independently while collaborating with the wider sales team on larger opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales within the cutting‑tools industry.
• Established relationships with end‑users and/or distribution partners.
• Track record of growing an existing sales territory.
• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary up to £60,000 per year.
• Uncapped commission with realistic additional earnings of around £13,000.
