Technical Sales Executive

About the role

Veolia is seeking a Technical Sales Executive to support customers with hazardous waste management solutions across Scotland and the Yorkshire & Humber region. The role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to help clients meet regulatory and environmental challenges. You will work in a hybrid model, balancing field visits with office‑based activities.

Key responsibilities

• Secure new business and meet growth targets across the assigned region.
• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Record customer interactions and quotes using Salesforce CRM.
• Assist in developing the future sales strategy for the region.
• Lead tender processes for potential new customers.
• Communicate and implement cost increases to customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal coordinators.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the waste industry, either in a sales or technical role.
• Extensive knowledge of key regional industries and the wastes they generate.
• Driven individual with natural curiosity and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• A‑Level in Chemistry (or equivalent).
