Technical Sales Manager – Insulation & HVAC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead the development of our distributor and merchant channels for a multi‑million‑dollar insulation manufacturer in the UK. You will report to the UK Managing Director and play a pivotal role in expanding market share across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales through national, regional and independent distributors.
• Maintain and strengthen distributor and merchant relationships.
• Deliver product training, technical support and sales enablement.
• Collaborate with partners on pricing, margins, promotions and stock profiles.
• Drive product awareness and generate demand.
• Promote the wider group portfolio, including HVAC and Marine products.
• Monitor performance, market feedback and competitor activity.
• Provide forecasting and sales reporting.
• Build and maintain an effective network of contacts at all organisational levels.
• Analyse emerging market opportunities and retain existing customer portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven track record of success selling within the insulation, HVAC or building services markets.
• Strong experience managing distributors and merchant channels.
• Comfortable managing a UK‑wide territory.
• Excellent account management skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented with a positive outlook.
