Technical Sales Manager

About the role

Selfcair UK LTD is seeking a technically‑savvy Technical Sales Manager to accelerate growth of its intelligent airport security lane solutions. You will act as the bridge between engineering and customers, translating complex technology into clear commercial value for airports, integrators and security partners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the aviation, airport and security sectors.
• Build and nurture relationships with airports, consultants, integrators and other industry stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations, live product demonstrations and commercial proposals.
• Support tender submissions, quotations and bid documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align product capabilities with customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales pipeline reports.
• Contribute to sales strategies, market expansion plans and the creation of marketing collateral.
• Represent Selfcair professionally at UK and international exhibitions and conferences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales, business development or account management.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel internationally and a full UK driving licence.
