Technical Sales Manager – Medical Devices & Healthcare

About the role

Are you a Technical Sales Manager with a medical equipment background seeking a remote position where you can grow new business and key healthcare accounts? Our client is a leading independent biomedical engineering specialist with over 30 years of experience, providing medical device supply, maintenance, training and lifecycle management services to NHS Trusts, private hospitals and clinical organisations across the United Kingdom.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across NHS Trusts, private hospitals and other healthcare providers throughout the United Kingdom.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, uncovering upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand service contracts.
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, tenders and service agreements that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Lead sales opportunities from the initial enquiry stage through to contract award, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Proven background in medical devices, medical equipment or biomedical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience selling solutions to the NHS or private healthcare sector.
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-management capabilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK, including monthly visits to the Birmingham office.
