Technical Sales Specialist

About the role

Our client, a well‑established supplier of scientific laboratory equipment, is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive growth across the UK territory. You will work remotely while representing a portfolio that includes Atomic Absorption, Ion Chromatography, ICP, TOC and other analytical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new customer accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive business development and account management.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities via prospecting, networking and territory planning.
• Develop deep product knowledge and communicate commercial strategies, pricing and value propositions.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and coordinate workshops, roadshows, exhibitions and other promotional events.
• Support marketing initiatives such as product launches, webinars and seminars.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities and activities in the CRM system.
• Provide local market intelligence and customer insights to suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations teams and support product installations and customer training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience using analytical instrumentation.
• Technical knowledge of Ion Chromatography, Total Organic Carbon, Atomic Absorption, ICP and elemental analysers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of audiences.
