Technical Services Assistant Manager

About the role

Join a globally recognised OE automotive group as a Technical Services Assistant Manager, supporting the UK aftermarket with technical expertise, customer interaction and leadership development. You will act as a bridge between customers, distribution partners and internal technical teams, helping to maintain high service standards while building your management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical service activity across the UK aftermarket.
• Assist customers and distribution partners with technical product enquiries.
• Contribute to training sessions, product launches and technical communications.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing and customer service teams.
• Maintain and improve technical support standards and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across technical processes and customer support.
• Build strong relationships across the aftermarket network.

Required profile

• Experience within the automotive aftermarket.
• Enjoy technical problem‑solving and customer interaction.
• Understanding of automotive products, systems or workshop environments.
• Organised, commercially aware and customer‑focused.
• Desire to develop technical and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.

Required skills

• Up to £45,000 basic salary.
• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote.
