Technical Services Manager

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will oversee the technical operations of a prestigious portfolio of commercial buildings in Central London. Working closely with building management teams, you will ensure that all assets are maintained to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional experience for occupiers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specialist hard‑services contractors and monitor performance against service level agreements.
• Support energy‑management and sustainability initiatives, analysing building performance and implementing efficiency solutions.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance programmes and coordinate reactive maintenance to minimise disruption.
• Prepare and manage service charge budgets in partnership with the property management team.
• Monitor health and safety performance, ensuring statutory compliance across the portfolio.
• Lead technical projects, liaising with consultants and contractors throughout delivery.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical and electrical background, ideally with an HNC, HND, degree or master’s in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing technical services in multi‑tenanted commercial buildings.
• Demonstrated ability to work with occupiers, consultants and internal stakeholders.
