Technical Services Manager – Studio Tour London

About the role

The Technical Services Manager will lead the Technical Services team at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. This role is responsible for maintaining all show‑related technical systems, including lighting, sound, video, set and prop installations, and show‑control hardware and software, ensuring a safe, world‑class visitor experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing technical services department and uphold the highest standards of health and safety.
• Operate, maintain and continuously improve AVL infrastructure and installations.
• Collaborate with original filmmakers, suppliers, third‑party contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver new features and show‑experience projects.
• Plan and execute day‑to‑day operations, ensuring operational readiness and relevance over time.
• Anticipate and respond to changing customer needs and emerging industry trends.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in technical services, AV, or entertainment environments.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations for technical installations.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of lighting, sound and video systems.
• Experience with show‑control hardware and software.
• Familiarity with AVL infrastructure maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety standards for technical environments.
