Technical Support Electrical Engineer – Watford

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative international engineering business to recruit a Technical Support Electrical Engineer for their expanding UK support operation in Watford. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for customers and field engineers, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and software issues remotely and ensuring rapid fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support to customers and field engineers.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software faults remotely.
• Guide field engineers through repairs and equipment commissioning.
• Configure and commission equipment, maintaining accurate service records.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineering teams when required.

Required profile

• Strong electro‑mechanical engineering background.
• Solid fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good IT literacy and ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Clear communicator with a logical, methodical approach to problem‑solving.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
