Technical Surveyor

About the role

Join the Technical Support Team at Gradus Limited and Gerflor as a Technical Surveyor. This field‑based position involves travelling across London and the South East to conduct surveys, resolve product issues and support the delivery of high‑performance flooring solutions for a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out site surveys and precise measurements for stair nosing, matting and other accessory installations.
• Investigate and assess customer complaints related to Gradus and Gerflor products.
• Perform on‑site repairs for warranty‑related issues.
• Prepare accurate survey reports and templates to support order processing and production.
• Produce clear, concise documentation of site visits and investigations.
• Assist the Technical Manager and wider team with ongoing projects.
• Liaise with Technical Support, Area Sales Managers and Regional Managers to meet customer requirements.

Required profile

• A proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings and overnight stays.
• Good level of IT proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
