Technical Trainer - Clio Operate

About the role

Clio, a global leader in legal AI technology, is looking for a Technical Trainer in London. The role combines live technical training delivery with instructional design and e-learning development for Clio Operate customers. As a subject matter expert, the trainer assesses customer needs, runs engaging live sessions, troubleshoots technical questions and builds and maintains self-paced Articulate Rise courses.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer technical environments and workflows, recommend training solutions and run interactive training sessions on Clio Operate.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, troubleshooting technical and configuration questions and escalating complex ones to support or engineering.
• Design and build self-paced e-learning courses in Articulate Rise, using instructional design principles, and keep them updated with product releases.
• Add assessments and knowledge checks, use LMS data to evaluate effectiveness, and manage content in the LMS including publishing, versioning and reporting.
• Create supporting learning assets such as job aids, quick-reference guides and storyboards, and manage instructional design projects end to end.
• Build customer relationships as a trusted advisor, gather feedback and collaborate with product, support and professional services teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Articulate Rise (or a comparable tool such as Storyline).
• Instructional design experience, familiarity with ADDIE or similar frameworks and adult learning principles.
• Experience administering or publishing content in an LMS.
• Working knowledge of Clio Operate or comparable legal practice management software, including configuration and administration.
• Strong live and virtual facilitation and presentation skills.
