Technical Training Instructor

About the role

Join Babcock as a Technical Training Instructor based in Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will develop and deliver technical training programmes that enhance safety, competence and performance across our operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, workshop, on‑the‑job and digital training sessions for technical staff.
• Support employee onboarding and ongoing skills development.
• Conduct competence assessments, provide coaching and mentorship to individuals and teams.
• Maintain accurate training records, learning management system data and competency frameworks.
• Analyse training feedback and data to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Travel regularly to Babcock sites across the UK and occasionally to other DSG locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering technical or vocational training.
• Background in workforce development and capability improvement.
• Ability to engage and influence learners from diverse technical backgrounds.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
