About the role
Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Technician for a night‑shift role at a manufacturing site in Mid‑Cornwall. The position offers a £24.66 hourly rate on a 4‑on/4‑off schedule (6 pm‑6 am) and the chance to develop within a high‑volume production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform fault‑finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Support production and engineering teams with technical issues.
- Work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Uphold safety and quality standards at all times.
Required profile
- Experience maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience supporting or training production/engineering teams.
- PLC or vision systems experience is advantageous (not essential).
