About the role
We are seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator for a one‑week assignment at Future Yard, 75 Argyle Street, Birkenhead. The role involves safely moving and positioning around 60 tonnes of structural steel on a live construction site.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently on site.
- Unload, move, and accurately place structural steel components.
- Conduct daily machine checks and report any defects.
- Work closely with site management and lifting teams.
- Support general lifting operations as required.
Required profile
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
- Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
- Ability to work safely in a live construction environment with appropriate PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Required skills
- CPCS Telehandler qualification.
- NPORS Telehandler qualification.
- 360 Slew Telehandler operation (highly advantageous).
- Slinger Signaller certification (highly advantageous).
