About the role
We are looking for a qualified Telehandler Operator to join a construction site in Maidenhead on a temporary basis. The role starts in June or July and involves operating a telehandler to move materials, support ground crews and assist various trades.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the telehandler using multi‑functional joysticks and change attachments such as forks, buckets and winches as required.
- Carry out pre‑start safety checks, routine maintenance and ensure compliance with load charts and HSE guidelines.
- Assist ground crews with material storage, site clearance and support trades like bricklayers.
Required profile
- Valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler ticket.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures on a construction site.
Required skills
- Telehandler operation.
- CPCS or NPORS certification.
- Load chart interpretation.
- HSE compliance.
- Pre‑start safety checks and routine equipment maintenance.
