Telehandler Operator – Reading (Temporary)

About the role
We are looking for a qualified Telehandler Operator to join construction sites in Reading on a temporary, full‑time basis. The role starts in June or July and involves operating a telehandler safely while supporting ground crews and various trades.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the telehandler using multi‑functional joysticks and change attachments such as forks, buckets and winches as required.
- Carry out pre‑start safety checks, routine maintenance and ensure compliance with load charts and HSE guidelines.
- Assist ground crews with material storage, site clearance and support for bricklayers and other trades.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and report any issues promptly.
Required profile
- Valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler ticket.
- Ability to work on‑site in a construction environment.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
