Telemarketer / Business Development Administrator (Part‑time)

About the role

This part‑time, office‑based position supports a growing business by generating new sales opportunities across schools, councils and other organisations in the UK. You will work from a CRM database to identify, contact and qualify prospects, securing face‑to‑face meetings for the Project Consultant team.

Key responsibilities

• Search the CRM database to prioritise target organisations.
• Make outbound calls to current and prospective clients.
• Identify decision‑makers and establish initial contact.
• Understand prospect needs, timelines and budgets.
• Qualify opportunities against set criteria before handover.
• Maintain accurate interaction records in the CRM.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Track activity, outcomes and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with Project Consultants for smooth handover.
• Contribute to refining messaging and outreach strategies.

Required profile

• Strong telephone‑based sales and communication abilities.
• Confidence engaging senior decision‑makers.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and resilient.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Previous experience in sales, telesales or business development is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
