Telemetry Configuration Engineer

About the role

Join a leading water utility provider and take a key role in managing critical infrastructure. As a Telemetry Configuration Engineer, you will play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of our water networks through advanced telemetry services and process control software.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry configuration services for capital partners.
• Utilize software libraries for sequence and process control to optimize system performance.
• Apply Asset Management Framework (AMF) knowledge and telemetry standards to ensure all installations meet strict regulatory requirements.
• Deliver configuration tasks based on pre-approved designs, ensuring any deviations are promptly escalated.
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance procedures and communicate effectively with operational teams.
• Update users and stakeholders on system status and configuration changes.

Candidate Profile

• Proactive, autonomous, and enthusiastic professional with a passion for technical excellence.
• Ability to work under the guidance of senior engineers while developing expertise in large-scale water network systems.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and manage complex telemetry environments.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills

• Experience with ClearSCADA or similar SCADA systems.
• Proficiency in Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) configuration.
• Knowledge of automation, IT infrastructure, or software systems.
• Understanding of telemetry standards and process control.
