Telephone Support Agent

About the role

AJ Bell is seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused individuals to join its telephone support team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for customers using the company’s award‑winning investment platforms, helping them with queries and ensuring a positive experience. Full training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop the knowledge and confidence needed for success.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound telephone calls from AJ Bell and Investcentre customers.
• Respond to customer emails and secure messages, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
• Provide accurate information about the company’s investment products and resolve queries.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions in the CRM system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior specialists as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 GCSEs (grades 9‑4) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and follow compliance policies.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule, including Saturdays and occasional bank holidays.
