Telephony Deployment Engineer – Microsoft Teams

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Telephony Deployment Engineer to lead the rollout of modern digital telephony solutions across a large multi‑site estate. The focus will be on Microsoft Teams Telephony, replacing legacy analogue systems and ensuring a smooth transition for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end Microsoft Teams Telephony rollouts (Direct Routing and/or Operator Connect) across 100+ sites.
• Design, configure, and implement site‑specific telephony solutions aligned with the core architecture.
• Lead on‑site build, configuration, go‑live activities and post‑deployment support.
• Manage cut‑over from legacy systems, minimising disruption for users.
• Troubleshoot voice and connectivity issues and provide clear documentation and handovers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in deploying digital telephony solutions, preferably Microsoft Teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to support delivery across multiple locations.
• Ability to work independently on site and manage end‑to‑end project phases.
