Temporary Accounts Assistant – Sage 200 (Romsey)

About the role

An established international manufacturing and consumer products business is seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant with Sage 200 experience. The role is office‑based in Romsey and offers an immediate start for a finance professional who can handle high‑volume invoice processing in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process large volumes of supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage supplier account queries and liaise with internal departments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and maintain up‑to‑date accounts.
• Assist with weekly payment runs, employee expenses, and credit‑card transactions.
• Support bank reconciliations, cash postings, and sales ledger administration.
• Contribute to month‑end activities, ledger reviews, and audit documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or Finance Assistant.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and good communication skills.
