Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk

About the role
We are looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in the Thurrock area. In this 3‑month assignment you will process a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, match, batch and code supplier invoices.
- Resolve supplier and internal invoice queries.
- Support regular payment runs and prepare payment files.
- Reconcile supplier statements and perform general finance administration.
Required profile
- Previous experience in high‑volume invoice processing, preferably in accounts payable or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Own transport for commuting to the workplace.
- Availability for a 3‑month temporary assignment.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
What we offer
- Hourly rate up to £15.00.
- Hybrid working model – one day per week from home.
