Temporary Audio Visual Support Technician – South East London

About the role

This temporary position supports the IT and Facilities team of an independent school in South East London. You will provide first‑line audio‑visual (AV) assistance for classrooms, meetings and school events, ensuring all equipment is ready and functional during a 1‑2 month cover period.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for AV equipment across teaching spaces.
• Respond promptly to AV incidents and service requests.
• Set up, operate and maintain audio‑visual hardware for lessons, assemblies and events.
• Troubleshoot basic AV hardware and software issues.
• Assist staff in the effective use of AV technology.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of AV equipment.
• Escalate complex technical problems to senior staff when required.
• Provide courteous customer service to staff, students and visitors.

Required profile

Required skills
