Temporary Contracts Officer

About the role

This is a three‑month, full‑time Contracts Officer position based in Duxford, East Anglia. The role starts onsite for the first month of training and then moves to a hybrid model (minimum 60% office presence). Candidates must have their own transport due to the rural location.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate confidentiality agreements, supplier contracts and statements of work.
• Manage contracts through review, approval and record‑keeping processes.
• Support internal teams on contractual procedures and requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing contract processes.
• Provide commercial and contractual support for various business projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in contracts, commercial or legal administration.
• Degree in law or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial risk.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and know when to seek advice.
