Temporary Credit Controller – Immediate Start

About the role

This temporary position offers an immediate start for a Credit Controller to join a busy finance team in Chippenham. You will manage a sales ledger, support cash‑flow and build strong relationships with customers while ensuring timely debt collection.

Key responsibilities

• Chase overdue invoices via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Maintain an accurate debtor ledger and allocate cash receipts.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment disputes.
• Conduct credit checks and assist with credit‑limit reviews.
• Keep customer records up‑to‑date in the ERP system.
• Produce aged debt reports and support finance reporting.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to resolve customer issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong communication skills with confidence making outbound collection calls.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
