Temporary Credit Controller – Oxford

About the role

We are seeking an interim Credit Controller to join the finance team in Oxford on a temporary, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for managing collections across print, digital and IP accounts, ensuring timely receipt of payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own collections for print, digital and IP accounts.
• Chase overdue debts and monitor accounts exceeding credit limits.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to resolve payment issues quickly.
• Achieve collection targets and proactively flag credit risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and allocate cash.
• Manage credit limits and support the implementation of payment plans.

Required profile

• Experience in credit control or sales ledger functions.
• Proven ability to handle large transaction volumes in a multi‑currency environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, target‑driven mindset with excellent organisational skills.
