Temporary Customer Operations Executive – EV Charging Support

About the role

Join a fast‑growing company that supplies and installs smart electric‑vehicle home chargers. As a Temporary Customer Operations Executive you will support customers throughout their EV charging journey, delivering a seamless experience while working in a hybrid office/home setting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer queries by phone, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Proactively contact customers to help overcome installation hurdles.
• Become a product expert on EV charger installation processes.
• Manage escalations and sensitive interactions with professionalism.
• Collaborate with the Technical Support team and escalate cases when needed.
• Meet individual KPIs for productivity and quality and contribute to team goals.
• Follow established processes, suggest improvements, and create internal knowledge resources.
• Stay informed about EV industry trends and the role of AI in customer support.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer support or call‑centre role.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or Intercom.
• Experience handling technical product queries.
• Proven ability to meet support‑related KPIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

What we offer

• £14.85 per hour, full‑time (40 hrs/week) for a 3‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Hybrid working – 3 days in the Covent Garden office, 2 days remote.
• Occasional weekend shifts (approximately one Saturday and one Sunday per month).
