About the role
This temporary position is ideal for candidates balancing childcare, studies or seeking a better work‑life balance. You will work in a busy office environment processing invoices, spotting discrepancies and handling telephone and email queries.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and prioritise the accounts payable queue.
- Process transactions using the relevant software.
- Resolve queries and reduce the number of invoices on hold.
- Handle high volumes of claims invoices, expense claims, pre‑payments and petty‑cash claims.
- Provide flexible cover for other areas of Accounts Payable when required.
- Perform general administration within the department.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a busy office setting, preferably handling invoices.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable communicating via telephone and email.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to hybrid working patterns.
Required skills
What we offer
- Full‑time contract – 37.5 hours per week.
- Flexible start and finish times.
- Hybrid working: office on Monday‑Wednesday, home‑working on Thursday‑Friday (option to work onsite every day).
- No weekend work.
