Temporary Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Barnet

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join temporary assignments across Hertfordshire, Essex and London. The role offers flexible full‑time, part‑time, day, night or weekend shifts to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care and support to patients and service users.
• Assist with daily living activities such as washing, dressing and mobility support.
• Monitor and record observations where required.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient care.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
• Adhere to safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Assistant in the UK.
• Caring, professional and patient‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (assistance available if required).
• Mandatory and statutory training (support provided for renewals).
