Temporary Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Ilford

About the role

CTS Recruitment is seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants for flexible, temporary assignments across Hertfordshire, Essex and London. The role offers full‑time, part‑time, day, night or weekend shifts to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care and support to patients, including washing, dressing and mobility assistance.
• Monitor and record observations as required and follow care plans.
• Support nursing and clinical teams in delivering patient care.
• Promote dignity, independence and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding, infection control and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Assistant.
• Caring, professional and patient‑focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS (assistance available).
