Temporary Housing Officer – Part‑time (30 hrs/week)

About the role

ROCASA Consulting is seeking a Temporary Housing Officer to join its Bristol team on a part‑time basis. You will work 30 hours across four days, supporting residents and managing a portfolio of apartments to ensure tenancies are sustained and properties are re‑let promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage void properties and achieve re‑letting targets within set timeframes.
• Process new housing applications, conduct viewings and sign‑ups.
• Carry out tenancy visits and inspections.
• Handle tenancy breaches, including anti‑social behaviour, and liaise with partner organisations.
• Submit referrals to external agencies and maintain strong relationships with agents.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise a varied workload.
• Capable of dealing with challenging situations and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of tenancies and experience in residential lettings.
• Previous experience in social housing or a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification is desirable.

Required skills

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
