About the role

Our client, a busy franchised main dealership in Cambridge, is seeking a qualified MOT Tester for a short‑term contract (1‑3 months). The role offers a guaranteed 40‑hour week with overtime and no mandatory weekend work.

Key responsibilities

Carry out MOT tests on light vehicles in accordance with UK regulations.
Complete all required paperwork and issue test certificates.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant testing environment.
Provide occasional overtime to meet service demand.

Required profile

Active MOT licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
Completed CDP training record.
Full UK driving licence.
Own tools and excellent references.
Franchised dealer experience and Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance are desirable but not mandatory.
