Temporary Physics Lecturer – Flexible Assignments

About the role
We are recruiting experienced Physics Lecturers for temporary assignments with a range of Further Education providers across South East England. The role offers flexibility while allowing you to deliver engaging Physics lessons to learners of varying ages and abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Physics lessons across multiple levels.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with college requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help learners achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate teaching records and adhere to health and safety guidelines during practical activities.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages student retention and progression.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or qualification in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Physics in Further Education, secondary schools or adult learning settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
