About the role
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our client in Newcastle upon Tyne for a busy 4‑5 month period. The role is office‑based in the city centre and offers a competitive salary up to £35k DOE.
Key responsibilities
- Source engineering candidates using LinkedIn and other channels.
- Shortlist, screen and assess applicants.
- Organise and coordinate interview schedules.
- Prepare and send offers and contracts promptly.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Arrange onboarding with hiring managers.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within engineering recruitment.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during a high‑volume period.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
