Temporary Stock Controller – Warehouse (2‑3 months)

About the role

This temporary position supports a busy manufacturing warehouse by ensuring accurate inventory records and smooth stock movements. The role runs for approximately 2‑3 months and offers a chance to make an immediate impact on production and customer fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy across the warehouse.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies.
• Update inventory records in the stock management system.
• Liaise with warehouse and production teams regarding stock levels.
• Produce stock reports and assist with inventory audits.
• Record all stock movements accurately.
• Support goods‑in and goods‑out processes when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory, or warehouse administration.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using stock management or inventory systems.
• Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Manufacturing or warehouse environment experience is highly desirable.
