Tenancy Management Adviser

About the role

The Housing Association is seeking a Tenancy Management Adviser on a temporary three‑month contract to support tenant retention and renewal processes in London. The role combines customer‑focused service with compliance‑driven tenancy management to help the organisation meet its growth and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement strategies to retain tenants through excellent service and effective rent setting.
• Ensure rent setting, deposit protection and other processes comply with current legislation and best practice.
• Negotiate and manage tenancy renewals, setting rents based on market research and organisational policies.
• Handle change‑of‑sharer requests and deliver first‑class service throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
• Generate and manage renewal agreements, maintaining accurate property data and complying with right‑to‑rent legislation.
• Provide expert advice on the renewal process to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties.
• Maintain meticulous records to support audit trails, reporting and decision‑making.
• Attend Rent Tribunal hearings as required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in customer service and sales within the private rented sector.
• Robust understanding of tenancy management, regulatory compliance and customer service standards.
• Proven experience attending rent tribunals.
• Immediate availability or ability to start on short notice.
• Availability to attend an interview on 6 May.

• PAYE rate of £20.20 per hour and Umbrella rate of £26.72 per hour.
