Tenancy Manager / Property Manager

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Cheshunt and offers an experienced Tenancy Manager the chance to oversee a residential portfolio for a well‑established sales & lettings agency. You will act as the primary point of contact for landlords, tenants and contractors, ensuring a smooth tenancy journey from move‑in to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
• Serve as the main liaison for landlords, tenants and contractors, handling day‑to‑day queries.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections and contractor appointments.
• Oversee end‑of‑tenancy processes, including check‑outs, deposit returns and dispute resolution.
• Ensure all properties comply with current lettings legislation and industry regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, providing regular updates and advice.
• Collaborate with lettings and sales teams to support overall business success.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Tenancy Manager, Property Manager, Lettings Manager or senior lettings role.
• Strong understanding of lettings compliance requirements and relevant legislation.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
